Rally Up North 2008 proves to be a growing success!
We would like to thank all of you that attended the 2008 Rally Up
North. This year was a bit of a “test ride” for what the Rally Up
North will be in the Future. We feel the test went well, and we are
very happy to announce, the Crow wing County Fair Board has already
agreed to have us back next year. Our attendance was great for a
first year at a new venue. We had a great weekend and a safe ride.
We also received a lot of feedback from participants. The common
theme was that everyone loved the camping aspect, all the
facilities, and property of the fair grounds. People seemed to like
the idea of taking a route with less traffic but they wanted at
least one more stop on the ride. We would like to hear from anyone
who wants to comment on what they would like to see in the future.
This event is designed to raise money for charity and to do so, we
must cater to the riders who attend. It has always been our goal to
keep doing what everyone likes but try to change things up every
year to keep it interesting and grow the attendance. A lot of those
changes worked out this year and some did not. After a year of
testing, some very high expenses, we still raised money for the
Minnesota Patriot Guard. The Minnesota Patriot guard had a great
weekend, brought a bunch of their members together and signed a lot
of new members to their organization. They are excited to be a part
of this event for the future.

More to come, and thanks again from the Rally Up North and the
